The Mark V??s glass-filled nylon handle is impervious to chemicals, non-conductive, and features a flat steel pommel for hammering and impact-weapon applications. In addition to textured wingwalk inserts and strategically placed traction grooves, the Mark V??s handle also features a unique four-way expansive hilt and Dieter Side Hilts to provide an exceptional grip under extreme field conditions. The unique handle design of the Mark V also allows it to be quickly lashed to a pole or branch for use as a spear in survival scenarios.
