Al Mar AMSRO SERE Operator and the Sheath System
The (Survival-Evasion-Resistance-Escape) classic SERE design in a fixed blade version, the SERE Operator features S30V steel with a full-length perimeter tang for maximum strength. The SERE Operator has a synthetic sheath system designed for ambidextrous carry in vertical, horizontal or diagonal modes. It can be customized to be attached on a belt, pack or load-bearing equipment ?? or just about anywhere you can think of - even inside the waist carry for maximum conceal ability. The systems extender mounting plate can be easily drilled to allow the user full freedom to customize their attachment point(s). The sheath itself is 30% fiberglass filled polymer ?? strong, light, highly chemical resistant and durable. The knife is retained in the sheath by integral locking points. The rubber "snubber" is for additional security ?? to keep the knife safely in the sheath under more severe conditions until needed. The extension plate is between the Tek Lok and the sheath. It can be removed for more compact carry or additional holes may be drilled in it for a custom application. It is often used when attaching the sheath to other equipment or vehicles. The Tek Lok, attached to the back of the extender, is fully adjustable for different size belts ?? it is ambidextrous and can be tilted into different positions by drilling additional holes in the extension plate. The SERE Operator is supplied with the sheath, attachment clip, secondary rubber retainer and extender mounting plate and is one of the most versatile sheath systems available today. Specifications:
